If you’re looking for a school with Christ in the center of its teachings, we recommend that you check out Foothills Alliance School. They offer 2, 3, or 5 half day classes, depending on the program.

What we like about Foothills Alliance School is that they give children opportunities to succeed in an environment of acceptance, kindness, and respect. The teachers encourage the development of the whole child by focusing on academic, social, and emotional skills. 

Beyond this, what we really liked about their services is that they offer what they call their “Solid Foundations” programming.

This entails fully funded Early Intervention Support services for children with extra or special needs. We like that they really go all out for their pupils.

This would mean that you would not only get education for your child, but you would also get services that include speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, access to an educational psychologist & physiotherapy under one roof.

As a final note, we also appreciate the parent-school connection that Foothills Alliance School fosters. Parents are called to volunteer within Foothills, and are involved in everything that concerns the children.

Kidz Choice Preschool is a community based school that offers programs for children aged 35 months to 5 years old.

What we like about their programs is that they’re well-balanced. The children’s schedule includes early math and literacy, combined with an aspect of learning through play.

In line with this, we also like that they follow a routine so that the children know what to expect and will feel comfortable.

The typical routine of the students include Welcome Time, Free Play, Gross Motor Time (optional), Clean Up, Handwashing and Bathroom, Snack Time, Learning Time, Goodbye and Home time.

At Kidz Choice, each program is managed by one teacher and two teacher assistants.
